Turning Popsicle Sticks into Custom Pens

I recently found out that popsicle sticks and craft sticks are usually made out of birch wood. And I wondered if they could be glued together to make custom pens. Plus if I stained the popsicle sticks before I glued them, would the color give them a unique look?
So in this video, you find out just how easy it is to turn popsicle sticks into custom pens.

This is one of my favorite projects to date. I never would have imagined such a simple idea would turn out so Awesome.

  1. That is an awesome idea. I have thought of making my own before but never thought of the popsicle sticks. I personally prefer stronger colours on a wooden pen, you could also try with a vacuum chamber or double dying might make it stronger.
